An Important Step Forward for the Benghazi Steel Project

Over the past period of time, we held the first Board of Directors meeting for Tosyali SULB in London. It was an opportunity for everyone involved in the project to collaborate, review the progress made so far and agree on the next steps.
The meeting brought together representatives from SULB Libya and Tosyali. We discussed the project's implementation schedule, financing and the work that still lies ahead to keep construction moving forward. As with any project of this size, careful planning and close coordination are essential.
This project has always been about more than building a steel plant, it is about creating an industry that can support Libya's economy for many years to come. Large industrial investments create jobs during construction, but they also provide long-term opportunities for businesses, suppliers and future generations.
As work continues, we will keep strengthening our cooperation with local and international partners. More agreements will be signed in the coming months as construction advances and new phases begin.
The Benghazi DRI complex is still under development, but every meeting, every delivery and every completed stage brings us one step closer to making this project a reality. I look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues.
